Almond Butter Stuffed Dates with Tahini, Honey and Cacao

ingredients

- 8 Medjool dates

- 4 tbsp almond butter

- 1 tbsp tahini

- 2 tsp honey

- 2 tbsp chopped dark chocolate (or cacao nibs)

- Pinch of sea salt

method

1. Carefully slice each date lengthwise on one side and remove the pit.

2. In a small bowl, mix the almond butter with tahini until well combined.

3. Stuff each date with about 1/2 tablespoon of the almond butter-tahini mixture.

4. Drizzle a small amount of honey over each stuffed date.

5. Sprinkle chopped dark chocolate (or cacao nibs) over the dates.

6. Finish with a small pinch of sea salt on each date.

Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

TIPS

- You can use chopped dark chocolate instead of cacao nibs for a sweeter taste.

- Adjust the amount of honey to your desired sweetness level.

- For meal prep, prepare a batch and store them in the refrigerator for quick snacks throughout the week.
